Sodium phosphate by Research Lab Fine Chem Industries is a high grade reagent. Also known as disodium phosphate (DSP), this is a salt of sodium and phosphate. The reagent is available as a white power which is soluble in water. It has a melting point of 250 C at which it decomposes. Sodium phosphate can be prepared by the neutralization of phosphoric acid with sodium hydroxide. While it is stable under general conditions, this reagent is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents.
