R + Thiolactomycind3 is the isotope labelled analog of R + Thiolactomycin T350880 ; a natural product inhibitor of KetoacylAcpM Synthase A KasA . It inhibits the synthesis of mycolic acid which is a major cell wall component of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Also an inhibitor of DAspartate oxidase DDO .
