Protease Inhibitor Cocktail V, EDTA-Free ab287909 previously called EZBlock Protease Inhibitor Cocktail V, EDTA-Free K290 is a cocktail of four protease inhibitors that have been optimized for the inhibition of serine and cysteine but not metalloproteases. Since this cocktail does not contain any EDTA, metal-dependent proteins and IMAC immobilized metal affinity chromatography isolation techniques e.g. for poly-His-tagged proteins are not affected. Reconstitute each vial with 1 ml D.I water to obtain a 100X concentrated stock solution. A 1X stock solution contains AEBSF HCl 500 muM , Aprotinin bovine lung 1 muM , E-64 150 nM , and Leupeptin, hemisulfate 1 muM . This product is manufactured by BioVision, an Abcam company and was previously called K290 Protease Inhibitor Cocktail V, EDTA-Free, EZBlock. K290-set is the same size as the 5 vial size of ab287909.
