pDsRed-Express2-N1 Vector

Description

pDsRed-Express2-N1 is a mammalian expression vector that encodes DsRed-Express2, a variant ofDiscosomasp. red fluorescent protein DsRed . pDsRed-Express2-N1 can be used to construct fusions to the N-terminus of DsRed-Express2. The fusion construct retains the fluorescent properties of the native DsRed-Express2 protein, and its expression can be monitored by flow cytometry and its cellular localization can be determined by fluorescence microscopy. pDsRed-Express2-N1 can also be used as a cotransfection marker; the unmodified vector will express DsRed-Express2 in mammalian cells.
