Total Protein Concentration : normal. Strain: English Short Hair. Sex: Mixed sex Raised in: Guinea pig Serums are obtained from non-hemolyzed blood that is collected from healthy and fasted donors. The donors are not medicated in any way and are maintained on an antibiotic free diet. Sterilization is accomplished by Millipore filtration. These serums provide excellent growth promoting components for tissue culture and microbiological organisms. Purity: Whole antiserum Sterilization: This product was aseptically filtered through a 0.22 micron filter into clean, pre-sterilized containers. The product was tested on trypticase soy agar for 24 hours, 48 hours and 72 hours and was found to be negative for bacteria.
