Description
The Human STAT1 Stable Knockout HeLa Cell Line T3982 is engineered to lack the STAT1 gene, a critical component of the JAK-STAT signaling pathway activated by Type I interferons. STAT1s role in transducing signals from the cell surface to the nucleus is essential for the expression of a wide array of ISGs involved in antiviral defense, cell growth regulation, and apoptosis. This cell line is indispensable for the study of STAT1-dependent signaling mechanisms, the identification of STAT1-specific gene regulation, and the exploration of STAT1 as a therapeutic target in various diseases including viral infections and cancer.
