These racks maintain a temperature of less than 4C for about 3.5 hours when the lid is on the rack at room temperature. Frosty MateTM can be used to transport biological samples, chemicals etc. at a stable temperature for a long period. Consistently cooled samples FROSTY MATETM colour changes drastically when the temperature samples drops below 4C. A clear visible colour change from Green to Yellow.
