Description
Ferrous phosphate by Research Lab Fine Chem Industries is a high grade reagent. Also known as Iron(II) phosphate, this is a phosphate salt of iron. The reagent is available as a brown powder which is insoluble in water. It has a melting point of 180 C. Ferrous phosphate can be synthesized by reacting ferrous hydroxide with phosphoric acid. While it is stable under general conditions, this reagent is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents.
