A375 Vemurafenib Resistant Stable Cell line (A375-RL)

Description

To obtain the resistant lines, cells were cultured in the presence of vemurafenib an inhibitor of BRAF V600E, starting from a concentration of 0.05 muM and ending at 3.2 mu M for A375. The used drug concentration was doubled every two weeks. After the cells achieved the resistance to the inhibitor, they were maintained in a culture medium with 1 muM of vemurafenib to prevent the loss of resistance. Resistance was confirmed via Western blot analysis.
